Current Projects/Learning
So far this school year, 6th grade students have been very busy setting goals to improve keyboarding skills and learning various techniques to present information.
Here are the things we've engaged in so far this school year:
1. Set goals to improve keyboarding skills. Students in the 6th grade should achieve a minimum of 25WPM. Students are on track to achieve thier goals.
2. Learning the ins and outs of Office 365. Office 365 is used through the district and it is important that all students learn how to navigate through this program and its applications.

Topics in future lessons:
Minecraft Education (using Minecraft to explore Geography, Art, and History, Comic Strip Presentations, and using MIT app inventor app to design and create an app that will help people. Students will actually create a working app that will be downloaded onto a school android device. Student swill also create a marketing video to pitch their app and present it to the class.
