Meet the Teacher
Welcome to the 6th Grade Technology website! Please be patient as this page goes through the process to best inform families of what to expect and about what is happening in the classroom.

I have been a teacher in the Richmond Community School District for 26 years. I have taught grades, K, 1, 2, & 3 as a classroom teacher and currently teaching grades K-5 STEAM. This is my first year teaching a technology class. I am very excited to explore this opportunity!

Other Activities
I am also the head coach for the JV High School volleyball team.

I am the head coach of the FLL Jr. (robotics) team which consists of students in grades 2 & 3.
​
I am the co-facilitator of the Lego Club along with Mrs. Gibson for grades 1-4.
My Family
I have been married to my husband Bob for 17 years. We have three children, Lindsey, Aidan, and Olivia. We have two dogs (Sadie & Duke). Aidan and Olivia attend Richmond Middle School and they are in the 8th grade.
Interests
I love to read mysteries and fantasy books. I love to go running and ride my bike. I am a huge Harry Potter and Avengers Fan.

My favorite Detroit team is the Red Wings and I have been a lifelong fan of Notre Dame football.
